Spring in Baltimore

Not warm or cold I was indeed
Seeing birds, flowers and seed
The very moment I’ve grabbed
My first cake of crab

I’m not sure about my pain
Proudly alone among them all
Old red brick buildings through downtown
Not expected  when I came

Trying anything, even poems and porn
The bad coffee makes me feel
Cold, alone, completely torn

Now I see beyond the steel
Far away from sugar, burger or corn
Two kids in summer, my last will.

  1. Essa poesia é de um amigo, Anderson Armstrong, que aportou em Baltimore neste mês para uma pós de 2 anos. Estará solo nos próximos 2 meses, quando chegarão two kids n his wife. Next summer...
